U.S. and France are friends again?

U.S. and France Back Plan to End Lebanon Fight - New York Times: "France and the United States reached agreement Saturday on a Security Council resolution to halt the war in Lebanon, as the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah raged for a 25th day."

I heard on the radio the other day that in the Congressional cafeteria they were calling 'em "French Fries" again, instead of "Freedom Fries." Sanity marches on.
