Bush confirms secret prisons

Cox News via ajc.com: "President Bush on Wednesday confirmed for the first time that suspected terrorist leaders have been held in secret CIA prisons, and that the last 14 of them have now been transferred to military prisons at the U.S. Navy base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The CIA program had held about 100 detainees, according to senior administration officials. They said the final transfers occurred 'within the last couple of weeks.'"
